Simon is a tax partner in our Liverpool City Centre office. He has been a tax adviser for over 25 years and is a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Accountants England & Wales. Simon works across all areas of tax with a focus on owner managed businesses.
He has a particular interest in group reorganisations, share schemes and M&A. He enjoys the challenge of the rapidly changing tax landscape.
Before joining DSG, Simon spent his the first half of his career working for the big 4 and more recently a regional firm assisting many owner managers to achieve their commercial goals in a tax efficient manner.
Simon is keen to ensure that clients are structured to give them flexibility and to ensure that they are efficient for what the future may throw up.
Outside of work, Simon enjoys to travel, spend time with his family and getting out on his road bike. Simon is a keen competitive cyclist and also a long term season ticket holder at Anfield. He used to be a keen golfer but rarely plays these days.
